Are you a doctor?
No. I'm a functional nutrition practitioner. I don't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. I treat maternal depletion as the biological event it is — hormones, nervous system, nutrient status — and create a personalized plan to address what's actually driving your symptoms. I work alongside your existing medical team, not in place of them.
Will you order labs?
Labs are recommended, but not a requirement. If your situation calls for it, I can order functional labs — comprehensive hormone panels, gut health testing, nutrient status markers — that go far beyond your doctor's standard panel. I use functional ranges that find what's actually broken, not reference ranges designed to tell you you're not dying. We'll always start with your full story first, then decide together if testing is the right next step.
How is this different from what my doctor does?
Your doctor likely ran a basic panel and told you everything looks "normal." That panel is designed to detect disease — not depletion. I look at a much wider range of markers through functional ranges that reveal the gap between "not sick" and "actually well." I also spend real time mapping your symptoms to patterns and confirming the specific bottleneck before building your plan — not fifteen minutes and a prescription.
Can you work with me if I already see other practitioners?
Absolutely. I don't replace your OB, PCP, or specialists. I fill the gap they can't — connecting dots between symptoms, interpreting labs through a functional lens, and creating an actionable nutrition and lifestyle strategy you can execute in your actual life. Any labs I run complement your existing care.
Do you take insurance or HSA/FSA?
I don't bill insurance directly. Many clients use HSA/FSA funds for functional nutrition services and lab testing — it depends on your specific plan. I can provide documentation for reimbursement. Lab costs are separate and always transparent before you commit.
I don't have time for a complicated protocol.
This is designed for mothers in the thick of it. I know you don't have three hours a day for meal prep and a meditation practice. I find the specific breakdown in your biology and rebuild it with targeted, strategic changes that fit a demanding life. Most clients are surprised by how manageable it is — and how fast they notice a shift.
How quickly will I feel better?
Most clients notice real shifts within the first two to four weeks — improved energy, better sleep, less brain fog. Deeper changes to hormone balance and nervous system regulation typically take two to three months. Recovery has a sequence, and we follow it. But you won't be waiting months to feel any difference.
